Dr. Manion offers interactive, fast-moving webinars that explore timely topics. Many of the same topics she presents on-site and in-person are available periodically through a webinar format. This is a remarkable opportunity to learn from and with a nationally recognized health care leadership expert.
In today's cost-conscious environment, a webinar can extend the outreach and availability of high-quality educational experiences for a broader range of participants. The use of a webinar can reduce by about 40% the cost of attendee participation because travel costs are eliminated. Convenience is greater because the individual can listen at his or her own desk and not incur excessive time away from the workplace.
The limited class size and interactive nature of the programming increases the effectiveness of this format. Registrants can listen to a replay for up to 7 days after the initial broadcast for optimal convenience.
ANCC contact hours are provided by SMHCS which is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the ANCC's COA. For participants who are not nurses but wish to apply to their professional board for CE approval, a certificate of completion can be requested. All handouts will include objectives, references, and a bio of the faculty.

Appreciative Leadership: Positive Principles for Transforming Your Workplace
This course is for established and aspiring leaders. It is offered in three parts and provides a solid foundation for any leadership practice. Sessions can be taken individually or the series taken in its entirety. In total these sessions weave together the key elements of what today's leaders need to know as we move into this new decade.
This course is designed as a comprehensive leadership development program. Ideally registrants will be at their own computer participating actively in the session. However, an organizational connection fee is also available for groups of participants.
Creating a Positive Workplace: It's In Our Hands!
This is an eleven session series that offers some of Dr. Manion's most popular sessions. Topics from the new field of positive psychology are offered as is some of the latest research on employee engagement. Each session is a stand-alone presentation but together allow the participant to examine specific strategies and issues for increasing positivity in your workplace.
